The article published in the November [...] shows the Elijah class in sack. cloth. However, the Elijah class, God's people, continned to bear witness to the name of the Lord as best they could. "They shall prophesy" (bear witness in this humiliated conditioncondition) 1260 days, or forty two months, during which period of time they should be despised or trodden down, treated with contempt by those who hate Ood's kingdom, particularly by the clergy and the principal of their flocks. (Rev. 11:2, 3) [...] Forty-two months of thirty days each, or 1260 days, which is equivalent to three and one-half years solar time, beginning the first week in November, to wit, November 7, 1914, would end on the 7th day of May, 1918.
