In verse fourteen the time is mentioned as "a time, and times, and half a time". Thus the Lord demonstrates that the period here is three and a half years; that is to say, a timebeing a year of twelve months of thirty days each, three and a half years would equal forty-two months. [...] After the war ended and Satan had been cast out of heaven into earth his anger against the woman was great, as mentioned in verse thirteen. That seems to be the reasonable time for the 'fleeing into the wilderness', The period of 1260 days in the wilderness began March 27, 1919, and the end of that period came September 8, 1922. Here is a quote from 1925 which states that there were exactly 1260 days between March 27, 1919, and September 8, 1922:
