What do the 2 wings symbolize? (Revelation 12:14)

ailes

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Revelation 12:14 - King James

⚪ The Old and New Testaments

Rev. 12 [...]
12:14. And to the woman. — The true Church.
Were given Two Wings. The Old and New Testaments.
Of a great eagle. — The eagle is a symbol of wisdom, a fit representative of the Scriptures in which are contained the words of our God. (Rev. 4:7.) "I bare you on eagle's Kings, and brought you unto Myself."—Ex. 19:4; Deut. 32:11-12.

Vs. 14. - To the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness [lit., the place deserted] into her place. The two wings are probably the "two witnesses" - the Word, which now showed the true church from which Papacy had sprung, her true condition - ON earth instead of, as at first, above the earth, with the moon under her feet.
These two witnesses assist her, not only mount upward again, but to return to "the place deserted," i. e., to a condition of harmony with God, not with the world. She was nourished in this wilderness 1, 260 years, or three and a half times, (from A. D. 538 to A. D. 1798.)

⚫ God’s love and power

Rev. 12 [...]
[...] it is written: "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. " (Vss. 6,14) [...] Jehovah God is "the great Eagle" whose wings provided the support and protection for his organization. Therefore his woman was given two wings of his provision, his love and power, to bear her away.

Verse fourteen reads: "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished." The "wings" scem clearly to symbolize divine provision made for Zion’s protection.
God gave a picture of this when he said to Israel: "¥e have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself."- Exodus 19:4.
The two wings, or divine providences, may properly be said to be God’s love and power exercised for the benefit of the Church organization, to feed, shield and protect her from the enemy’s wiles.
