⚫ Jehovah's glorious presence in Zion

Rev. 15 [...]
At this point the record discloses that the temple is filled with the glory of God: "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled." (Vs. 8) The "smoke" denotes Jehovah's glorious presence in Zion which he has now built up. (Ps, 102:16; Isa. 6:4) Smoke originates with fire, and therefore denotes God's glorious presence and his fiery indignation against his enemies: "Because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. . . . And thy wrath is come." (Rev. 11:17, 18)
