coming up out of the earth (Revelation 13:11)

Rev. 13 [...] 13:11. And I beheld another beast. — [...] notice that this beast 'ascended (came gradually) out of the earth,' while the first came out of the sea, Now, If our definitions be correct—as the coming out Papacy from among the irreligious masses of the Roman Empire was shown by its coming out ot the 'sea' — then the coming of this second beast out of the 'earth' should signify that it sprung up among a professedly religious people. ⚫ From Satan's visible organization

'TWO HORNED BEAST' John, representing God's anointed people, beheld 'another beast having two horns like a lamb coming up out of the earth, and its speech was like Satan', (Rev. 13:11) [...] The two-horned beast comes up out of the earth, that is to say, grows up out of the organization that already existed. The two-horned beast then directs the making of the "image to the beast".[...] The two-horned beast is the Anglo-American imperialism, that is to say, the combined power of Britain and America, and which is a part of Satan's organization. The "image to the beast" is the League of Nations, also an instrument of Satan. The British Empire is the seventh in the list of world powers and is the most powerful of all. That world power grew up out of the nations and peoples that had already been organized into Satan's visible organization, and which is properly symbolized by "the earth". Hence the Scriptures say that 'the two horned beast came up out of the earth'. 'I'his does not at all militate against the fact that it was and is a part of the wild beast that came up out of the sea. In other words, Britain for a time existed as a part of the 'sea beast', but growing up out of this Devil organization came the 'two-horned beast'.
